Rekha’s mesmerising performance on ‘Salam-E-Ishq Meri Jaan’ will take your breath away, watch

The 19th edition of bollywood’s most awaited IIFA awards 2018 took place in Bangkok, Thailand. The green carpet was attended by Anil Kapoor, Karan Johar, Ranbir Kapoor, Kartik Aaryan, Shraddha Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Iulia Vantur among others.

Many celebrities who attended the award night also gave a performance on stage. One of them is evergreen Rekha. The actress recreated her Umrao Jaan avatar and looked absolutely gorgeous in an Anarkali dress. 

The actress mesmerised with her performances on her super-hit songs  ‘Salaam-e-Ishq‘ from Muqaddar Ka Sikandar, ‘Dil Cheez Kya Hai‘ from Umrao Jaan and ‘Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya‘ from Mughal-e-Azam.

The veteran actress return to the stage of IIFA after 20 years and she has received the standing ovation from her fans.

Later, Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor and Kartik Aaryan joined the actress on stage for an encore of Salam-E-Ishq.

After her performance, the actress said, after sharing stage space with these great actors today, I feel I have become a better actor and a better person”. “I have become a better actor and a better performer after the star dust has rubbed on me,” she said.

Co-hosted by Riteish Deshmukh and Karan Johar, the show saw a spectacular gala on Sunday.
